Outpatient Therapy

Outpatient Therapy

We provide specialized rehabilitative services to our patients in the communities we serve. We often see patients who are recovering from disabilities caused by injuries, illnesses, or chronic medical conditions.

Outpatient Therapy

In addition to our inpatient program, Summa Rehab Hospital offers outpatient neurologic-based rehab services. Once at home, patients living with diagnoses such as stroke, brain injury, major trauma, spinal cord injury, or a progressive neurological condition including multiple sclerosis (MS) or Parkinson’s disease (PD) can benefit from this comprehensive outpatient therapy program. Summa Rehab’s outpatient team includes physical therapists that are Neurologic Certified Specialists, speech therapists and occupational therapists. Patients are able to schedule appointments for a three-hour time block in the same day to include all appropriate therapies, if needed.
